There’s a virtual fundraiser tonight for the Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh.
The nonprofit usually holds WineFeast in a hotel in April. Chief Operating Officer Tracy Ogden says they have an online auction, and they’ll make a live presentation at 7 p.m.
During the pandemic, their doors are open all day, instead of just after school. She says they’re helping kids with school, and making sure they’re fed and having some fun during the day.
Ogden says they also make sure they’re helping all of the kids with their basic needs. Some take showers at the club, and they often send food home.
She says WineFeast is their biggest fundraiser of the year, and typically they have about 600 people at the event.
