A UW-Oshkosh professor is suing two school administrators over decisions that were made after student complaints.
Peter Meyerson claims Chancellor Andrew Leavitt and Provost John Koker violated employee handbook policies during their investigation.
Meyerson was accused of yelling at students, and making women feel uncomfortable in the classroom. The complaint against Meyerson was dismissed, but he argues Leavitt took more than the required amount of time to make that decision.
He says Koker still forced him to undergo supervision by colleagues, write a self-evaluation, and address the use of “proximity control” in the classroom.
Meyerson is asking the court to block the university from placing any sanctions on him, and purge the complaint from his employment record.
