An Outagamie County Sheriff’s deputy is resigning, after he was charged with causing a wrong-way crash while off-duty.
Prosecutors say Jonathan Cvengros of Neenah made a U-turn on Highway 441 in March. They say he was heading into work, and realized he missed the Oneida Street exit.
Cvengros is accused of hitting an oncoming car, leaving an Appleton man seriously hurt.
He’s facing a felony reckless driving charge. He was placed on administrative leave after the crash.
