The suspect in an Oshkosh murder is facing a trial.
Twenty-seven-year-old Ricardo Martinez-Mendez is accused of shooting 36-year-old Jarvis Gladney in the hallway of an apartment building last month.
The complex is along Taft Avenue, near Oshkosh West High School.
Winnebago County Court Commissioner Bryan Keberlein ruled there is enough evidence to order a trial, during a preliminary hearing today.
Oshkosh police officer Dean Artus testified there was an argument between the two. He says Martinez-Mendez told investigators Gladney was insulting the suspect, and his girlfriend.
Martinez-Mendez is accused of saying Gladney grabbed his neck, before Martinez-Mendez pushed the victim away and shot him.
