There are 2,319 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin, and two new records for hospital patients.
Hospitals are treating 141 new coronavirus patients, and 853 overall. Both are single-day highs. One month ago, there were 286 patients.
The state is reporting 17.1 percent of tests came back positive. There are 25,500 active cases, and that’s 648 more.
Another 16 people died, and the overall number of confirmed deaths is up to 1,415.
Brown County has 245 new cases, Winnebago 173, Outagamie 113, Calumet 71, and Fond du Lac 67.
Manitowoc added 52, Waupaca 39, Shawano 26, and Oconto 23. Waushara has 18 more, Green Lake 13, and Kewaunee six.
