Local clerks are going through training on how to prevent voter intimidation on Election Day.
Wisconsin Elections Commission Administrator Meagan Wolfe says they want to make sure the leader of each polling place knows what to do. She says that includes when the chief inspector would try to diffuse a situation, or call police.
Wolfe says they’re also talking with groups that plan to send election observers to polling places. She wants them to understand the rules, so voters don’t feel intimidated.
