Manitowoc County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a missing hunter.
Deputies were called to the Collins State Wildlife Area off West Quarry Road in the town of Rockland around 3:15 p.m. yesterday. Deputies say the 29-year-old was duck hunting on the Manitowoc River and may have been in distress.
Rescue crews searched by boat, air and on the ground last night and will continue this morning. They’re asking hunters to avoid the area.
