I-41 north in the Oshkosh area is open again after a fiery crash that claimed the life of one person.
Winnebago County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the area south of Highway 26 in the town of Nekimi around 9:15 p.m. According to officials the crash involved a car, a full size truck and a semi. The driver of the vehicle that caught fire was pronounced dead at the scene the other drivers were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
I-41 was closed for more than seven hours.
