Appleton is holding a photo contest for people who live in the city.
The idea is to replace the images in the Houdini Welcome Tower with pictures of hope. Spokeswoman Sheng Riechers says pictures can be taken in or around Appleton.
There’s no age requirement or skill level to participate. Pictures are due by December 18th.
