The city of Neenah will use a state grant to continue cleanup of a former salvage yard site. Mayor Dean Kaufert says the 35-thousand dollars from the D-N-R will fund testing soil samples at Loren’s Auto Recycling on Schultz Drive. Today is the deadline for Loren’s to have all 3,000 vehicles off the site–or they will become the property of the city. Kaufert says they have already had interest for redevelopment of the site.
