A February 14th trial date is set in a civil lawsuit stemming from the bankruptcy of the Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh. Investor Eric Hoopman is suing Fox Valley Pro Basketball President Greg Pierce and some of his associates at Windward Wealth Management alleging they provided him fraudulent information before he loaned them a million dollars for the arena. By suing the individual parties–and not Fox Valley–Hoopman’s case is not covered by the arena’s recent bankruptcy re-organization plan.
