A parents group fails in its effort to recall two members of the Appleton School Board.
Two members of the Appleton School Board will not face recall elections this winter.
Erik Hanson from the parents group that launched the recall effort tells Josh Dukelow on Fresh Take that they failed to gather enough petition signatures to force elections.
Board President Kay Eggert, Vice President Leah Olson and Treasurer Jim Bowman were targeted for recall.
Olson resigned from the Board last month, citing a desire to spend more time with family.
The parents group was upset that the Appleton School District was not providing an in-class option for families during the pandemic.
