Oshkosh man accused of stealing from an elderly woman heading to trial

An Oshkosh man accused of stealing more than half-a-million dollars from an elderly woman will stand trial. A Winnebago County judge finds there is enough evidence to try Terry Culver on charges of Theft in a Business Setting and Tax Fraud. Culver was given power of attorney for the 92-year old woman when she was placed in a nursing home. Prosecutors allege he emptied the victim’s bank accounts, put a quit claim deed on her house, and failed to report the income for five years. He will enter a plea to the charges on February 15th.
