A police report provides more details on an incident that resulted in a trespassing ticket for a member of the Oshkosh School Board. According to the incident report provided to WHBY News by the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department, Stephanie Carlin was cited for trespassing at a private storage unit owned by Oshkosh Corporation C-E-O Wilson Jones on January 22nd. Carlin told investigating deputies that she had been with Jones at the building many times in the past–and was not aware that it was private property. Carlin’s husband told another deputy that there had been harassment claims by both his wife and Jones–some of which were looked into by the state Division of Criminal Investigation. WHBY News reached out to the sate Department of Justice for confirmation–but have not received any comment. Carlin also asked the deputy to be given just a warning–as she is a member of the School Board. She can contest the citation in Winnebago County Court on March 30th.
