A couple more national chain businesses are coming to Oshkosh. Popeye’s is looking to locate at the corner of Oshkosh Avenue and Westfield Street–near the Casey’s Convenience Store. Meanwhile, Camping World is looking to build a new store at the corner of Ripple Avenue and South Washburn Street. That would require the demolition of the former Packer’s Pub and LaSure’s Cafe. LaSure’s has already announced that it is closing this month and moving its operations to its banquet hall on South Washburn Street. The Oshkosh Plan Commission will consider those proposals on Tuesday.
