One member of the Appleton School Board wants the renaming of Lincoln Elementary School to go to the voters. Jim Clemons supports the idea of a referendum to decide if “Honest Abe” should come off the building. The Appleton School Board is currently working on a policy that will set a process for removing Lincoln from one of its elementary schools and renaming it in honor of former principal Ron Dunlap.
