The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department is investigating two attempted abductions they say aren’t related.
A man grabbed a nine-year-old girl as she got off a school bus on Lamplighter Lane in the town of Farmington Friday around 3:45 p.m. He walked her into a wooded area but something scared him and he ran off. He was wearing a black ski mask.
Yesterday around 5 p.m. a man ordered a 27-year-old woman, walking with her one-year-old son on Island Road in the town of Larrabee, to get into his car. She refused and went home. He’s described as white between 60 and 70 years old. The vehicle is described as a light colored green Subaru hatchback.
