The city of Neenah is asking a federal judge to dismiss the latest lawsuit filed by the victims of a hostage situation at Eagle Nation Cycles. The former hostages claim they were traumatized by the police response to the situation in December 2015–which saw Michael Funk shot and killed. The city argues that all police actions were done in good faith and in an effort to rescue those inside the building that were being held at gunpoint. A scheduling conference in the case is set for May 21st.
