The 2d Marine Division Band will travel to Appleton for the 70th Flag Day Parade.
“After a long year, the Committee is thrilled to bring back the Flag Day Parade to Appleton,” said committee chair Corey Otis. “We are honored that the United States Marine Corps chose to send one of their premiere performance groups to represent them in this year’s Flag Day Parade,” Otis added.
The Appleton Flag Day Committee says free concerts for the public will be offered Friday, June 11, at 6 P.M. at Waverly Beach Bar & Grille in Menasha and Saturday, June 12, at 5 P.M. on the baseball field outside American Legion Post 38 in Grand Chute. Both the Ceremonial Band and the Brass Band of the 2d Marine Division Band will perform at each concert performance.
