Wisconsin no longer has any counties with “very high” levels of COVID-19 activity. Twenty-seven counties are still at the “high” level–42 counties are “medium”–while Lincoln, Pepin and Trempealeau counties have become the first in the state to reach the “low” level since the early days of the pandemic. The state Department of Health Services reports 165 posititve tests on Thursday. The seven-day average for the positivity rate is one-point-two percent.
There were another 10-deaths added to the statewide total–which is now at 72-hundred–but just three of those happened this month. Waupaca and Waushara counties each saw one death added to their total. Brown County had 16 new cases yesterday. Winnebago County added five–while Outagamie County had three.
