The issue that led to the relocation of all events planned for Ford Live Park in Oshkosh this summer may involve access to the site. A source familiar with the situation tells W-H-B-Y News that the owners of the property that includes the main entrance to the concert grounds have not reached an easement agreement with the new promoters. Tax record searches show that the stage area–along with most of the parking and camping areas–are owned by a limited liability corporation called “Ripple Acres”–which is registered to Jeffrey Jones. But the property along South Washburn Street–which includes the main entrance and some of the camping and parking sites–are owned by Blue Moon and Red Moon Holdings–which are registered to local developer Thomas Rousch. Our source says the two sides are several hundred thousand dollars apart on a new lease. New promoters–Danny Wimmer Presents–canceled one of the two events scheduled for Ford Park Live and moved the other to the Leach Amphitheater in Oshkosh last weekend.
