A suspect in a cold-case abduction and sexual assault at the Fox River Mall says he is “not guilty”. John Carter enters the plea in Outagamie County Court to charges of First Degree Sexual Assault and Kidnapping. Carter allegedly abducted a 16-year old girl at gunpoint in the mall’s parking lot in February of 2000. He was arrested in April after D-N-A evidence allegedly matched him to the crime. No trial date has been set yet.
