The Green Bay Police and Fire Commission have named four finalists to become the next police chief of the city.
Former Chief Andrew Smith retired on May third.
Two of the finalist are veterans in the Green Bay Police Department. Captain Ben Allen and Captain Kevin Warych have each been with the department for 20 years. Captain David Salazar is with the Milwaukee Police Department and Deputy Chief Christopher Davis is with the Portland Police Department.
A decision is expected after in person interviews scheduled for late next month.
