A business labeled a “nuisance” by Neenah officials has closed. Steve Erato has shut down Eagle Nation Cycles on Main Street. Mayor Dean Kaufert says Bergstrom Automotive is now leasing the site. Eagle Nation was the site of a botched drug raid by Neenah Police in 2012 that led to a federal lawsuit, a fatal hostage situation that saw police shoot and kill Michael Funk as he tried to escape the building in 2015, and earlier this year, a fatal stabbing where a member of the Hell’s Lovers motorcycle gang sought refuge in the shop.
