A house fire in Oconto County leaves a woman injured and a man dead. The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office was notified Thursday morning of a fire at a home in the 15000 block of Big Bear Lane in the Town of Lakewood. Multiple fire departments were dispatched to the scene and found the building engulfed in flames. During a search, fire fighters located a 74-year-old woman outside of the building. She had suffered burns. Fire crews also located a 78-year-old man who died inside the home. The fire is under investigation by the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s office.
