Appleton police are investigating a shooting inside a home near the downtown.
Officers were called to a house in the 900 block of West Lawrence Street around 1 a.m. Sunday. Officials say several people were involved in an illegal drug deal and a man pulled out a gun and shot it once. No one was hurt.
Police call the incident targeted.
