A Green Bay man is arrested for his second OWI offense. That follows a two-vehicle crash that happened in the Town of Champion on Tuesday. Brown County Sheriff’s Dispatch received a call of a collision on County Highway T near County Highway K. Wisconsin State Patrol says a van driven by 29-year-old Michael Marino failed to stop at the intersection and struck a pickup truck. Marino and two passengers, including a child under 16, had to be extricated from the van and were airlifted to a local hospital. Two people in the pickup truck suffered minor injuries. Investigators found open intoxicants and other drugs in the van. Marino is charged with three counts of OWI causing injury, possession of marijuana/THC and drug paraphernalia and failure to yield to a stop sign causing bodily injury.
