A former candidate for Outagamie County Sheriff finds himself in more legal trouble. Alexander Bebris is charged in Milwaukee Federal Court with possession of child pornography. According to the indictment, the alleged illegal images were found during a police search of Bebris’ home in Denmark on August 20th–just four days before he was to begin serving a five-year prison sentence for distribution of child porn. He mounted an unsuccessful run for Outagamie County Sheriff in 2018. If convicted on the new charges, Bebris would face another 30-years in prison.
