It could be another two years before enrollment in Oshkosh public schools return to pre-pandemic levels. Projections prepared by administrators show the number of students fell by 338 in 2020-2021 school year. Enrollment is expected to drop another 232 this school year. Oshkosh should gain back students at a a rate of 108 in 2023 and 124 in 2024. That would bring the district back to an enrollment of 9,735–which it was in 2019.
