The Wisconsin Veterans Village in Appleton is the recipient of a $250,000 grant from the Green Bay Packers. The village will use the money for their Outdoor Wellness Project–which will expand a walking path, building viewing platforms at their pond, and updating a playground. The Packers Give Back program is also providing a quarter-million dollars to the Green Bay Botanical Garden for expansion of its children’s garden.
