The Port of Green Bay is seeing very strong shipping traffic as 2021 comes to an end. Nearly 220,000 tons of goods were shipped through the port in November. That brings the yearly total to nearly 1.8-million tons, which is nine-percent above last year. Port of Green Bay Director Dean Haen says those numbers are a sign of a strong economy.
Haen says petroleum products led the way for the record setting month of November.
Haen says the Port of Green Bay will be open to shipping through mid-January, depending on weather conditions.
