A gas leak forces residents out of their homes in a three-block area of Oshkosh. Fire fighters were dispatched to an area around the intersection of Moreland Street and Westfield Avenue between 4:30 and 5:00 Wednesday afternoon. The gas leak occurred underground. W-P-S crews were called in and shut off the gasline. The cause of that leak has not been determined. Utility crews will be available to ensure pilot lights to water heaters, furnaces and other appliances are relit safely.
