Gas prices rose in the Fox Valley during the holiday week. GasBuddy.com reports the average for regular unleaded in went up 2.5 cents in the Appleton area last week to $2.88 a gallon. Gas prices in Green Bay increased by four cents to $2.96. We are still paying 87-cents more for gas now than a year ago.
