A vehicle collision with a utility poll results in the loss of power to nearly 2400 customers in Manitowoc County.
The collision took place near the Village of Mishicot.
While WE Energies has restored power to 650 customers, the power outages are forcing Mishicot Schools to close early.
Elementary and High School students were dismissed between 9:45 and 10:00 this morning.
No 4-K or Early Childhood classes will be held this afternoon.
