The Oconto County District Attorney says he will not file any criminal charges in connection with strip searches of students at Suring High School. Parents complained to the Suring School Board last week about reports that a group of boys and girls were forced to disrobe down to their underwear while administrators looked for vaping materials on their bodies. The Oconto County Sheriff’s Department conducted an investigation and found that the incidents did not meet the legal definition of a “strip search” under state law. The Suring School District has made no comment on the allegations.
