A fire that damaged an Appleton garage appears to have started in a chicken coop. Crews were called to the home in the 12-hundred block of East Park Hills Drive around 12:15 this (Monday) afternoon on the report of flames coming from the garage. Investigators believe a heat lamp clamped inside the coop fell and set other items on fire. No humans were hurt. Damage is estimated at ten-thousand dollars.
