Outagamie County brings in an extra four million dollars in sales tax revenues in 2021. The county budgeted for 18-million dollars–but actually made 22-million. Finance Director Brian Massey says most of that money can be used on whatever the County Board wants to do.
Massey admits sales tax projections for 2021 were very conservative–as no one knew how the economy would bounce back from the pandemic.
