A Winneconne woman is convicted of theft in a business setting. 48-year-old Stephanie Arnett pleaded no contest Thursday to a single count of Theft In a Business Setting great than $100,000. Arnett, who worked as a bookkeeper for Critters Wolf River Sports and Woodeye’s Bar and Grill, was accused of stealing more than $170,000 over five-years. Authorities say Arnett wrote herself paycheck for greater amounts than they should have been and frequent gave herself multiple paychecks. Arnett was sentenced to a six-month jail sentence that was stayed pending the repayment of $60,000 within six-months. She was also sentenced to six-months in jail with Huber privileges. Arnett was also ordered to pay $116,054.40 to Winnebago County Court.
