A single car crash in Dodge County claims the life of an 87-year-old man. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of an accident at County Highway C west of County Highway I in the Township of Chester around 6:34 Sunday evening. Investigators determined that the car driven by that man was driving east on Highway C when it failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and struck several trees in the south ditch. The Dodge County Medical Examiner pronounced the 87-year-old man dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
