An April 28th motions hearing is set for Suring Schools Superintendent Kelly Casper. That’s in connection with alleged student strip searches in January. Those searches of some female students were part of an attempt to find illegal vaping devices. Casper made an initial appearance in Oconto County Court this morning. She’s charged with six-counts of false imprisonment. Following this morning’s initial appearance, Casper was placed under a $5,000 signature bond and ordered not to have contact with any of the students in question. Casper is currently on paid administrative leave from the district.
