The Bishop of the Green Bay Diocese will join bishops around the world and Pope Francis in prayer for peace between Ukraine and Russia. Bishop David Ricken will preside over a mass that will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The mass will be held at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Champion, which is the only Marian apparition site in the U.S. Bishop Ricken believes prayers from all people are needed as President Biden meets with NATO leaders.
Bishop Ricken also says the hope is that the results of the appearance of Mary to three children in Fatima, Portugal in 1917 is repeated.
The mass of consecration starts at 6:00 PM. People of all faiths are welcomed to join the services.
