The History Museum at the Castle just announced a new exhibit heading our way. Da Vinci The Exhibition will be on display starting Wednesday, April 20, 2022 and will run through Monday, September 19, 2022. Chief Curator Dustin Mack shares with us how the experience follows the Renaissance master, Leonardo da Vinci, on a journey of innovation, creativity, science and wonder.
SPACE NEEDED – Imagine Fox Cities is hoping community partners in the Fox Cities will consider submitting spaces that are “shovel ready” to receive an art installation in summer 2022. Irineo Medina and Holly Femal join us, both part of the engagement committee with Imagine Fox Cities, to help us learn more about the project and share how space and artists can get connected. We also highlight the importance of this project embodying the theme of “belonging” — an important pillar in the Imagine Fox Cities mission.

Today is National Transgender Day of Visibility. The day is dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide, as well as a celebration of their contributions to society.
The White House issued a proclamation today, reading in part, “On this day and every day, we recognize the resilience, strength, and joy of transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming people. We celebrate the activism and determination that have fueled the fight for transgender equality. We acknowledge the adversity and discrimination that the transgender community continues to face across our Nation and around the world.”
