We are thrilled to welcome back Karen Ann Hoffman of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin. Karen is a Haudenosaunee Raised Beadwork artist who was the 2020 recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) National Heritage Fellow. Karen Ann will be featured in an upcoming Field Museum exhibit, Native Truths: Our Voices, Our Stories. It opens on May 20th. Another exhibit will be featured at the Rahr-West Art Museum in Manitowoc starting April 24th.
The Appleton Public Library will continue programming during their “in-between” season. In-person storytime will be held at places throughout the city, including at the Scheig and City Centers. The library will continue to offer a variety of programming during the closure. Visit our online calendar (apl.org/calendar) to learn more.
