A former Appleton woman accused of causing her baby’s death by co-sleeping reaches a plea deal with prosecutors. Nicole Sobay is convicted in Outagamie County Court on a reduced count of Child Neglect Causing Death. Sobay had originally been charged with First Degree Reckless Homicide. Sobay reported the death of her child in June of 2017. She skipped bond and wasn’t arrested until last year in Alaska. Sobay faces up to 25-years in prison when sentenced on July 1st.
