Recounts do not change the results of two Winnebago County Board elections. In District 25, incumbent Karen Powers defeated challenger Lydia Lyons by six votes–one different that the initial reported results. That race required a hand count due to both candidates being write-ins. Meanwhile in District 32, challenger Shanah Zastera defeated incumbent Robert Keller by eight votes–the same margin as the machine count on election night.
