GRAND CHUTE, Wis–More accusations are leveled against an embattled member of the Grand Chute Town Board. The town’s Police and Fire Commission has submitted a letter to the board claiming that Supervisor Ron Wolff accosted Police Chief Greg Peterson last week, and made veiled threats against the department.
According to the complaint obtained by our TV partner Action 2 News, Wolff demanded a meeting with Chief Peterson last week. Wolff then asked to step outside of the Town municipal building, where the Chief claims Wolff pointed a finger into his chest and complained about his treatment by the state Division of Criminal Investigation and how it made him “unable to support the cops”.
Police and Fire Commission member Tom Dreier has had enough.
Wolff had three search warrants served against him by DCI investigators back in March. He was not in attendance at the Town Board Meeting where the letter of complaint was filed.
