FOX LAKE, Wis–The body of a missing canoeist is recovered from Fox Lake.
Dodge County authorities say the body was found shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday.
The victim, whose name was not released, went missing after the canoe he and a woman were in tipped over on April 21. The woman was rescued and taken to a nearby hospital, while crews searched daily for the man.
Authorities say high winds on the 21st made it dangerous to be on the lake. Both canoeists were not wearing life jackets.
