APPLETON, Wis. — A Silver Alert is issued for a missing Appleton man.
Jay Cross, 80, was last seen at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of McDonald and Grant streets in Appleton. Authorities say he left his home to go on a walk and did not return.
Cross is 5-foot-3 and 174 pounds, with blue eyes and very short gray hair. He was last ween wearing a yellow baseball hat, a brownish-red plaid flannel long-sleeve shirt and jeans.
