OSHKOSH, Wis. — Oshkosh police are investigating a suspicious incident in which a man tried to get a juvenile female to get into his vehicle.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of W. 17th Avenue and Delaware Street.
Police say the girl was walking in the area when the adult male, whom she didn’t know, told her he was related to a friend of hers and he’d give her a ride home. The girl refused, ran away and the man did not go after her.
Oshkosh police are looking for a white male in his 30s, about 6-foot-2 with an average build. He has brown medium-length hair, green eyes and a large tattoo on his right neck. The suspect was wearing a baggy, green-hooded sweatshirt, black sweat pants and a blue surgical face mask.
