(APPLETON, WI)–A local organization is getting a feel for the sense of well-being among Fox Cities residents.
A recently completed survey by Imagine Fox Cities is offering some insights. IFC asked residents to rate their feelings of well-being on a scale of 0-to-10. That looked at factors including physical health, mental health and outlook on the future.
John Brogan, with Imagine Fox Cities data team, tells Hayley Tenpas on “Focus Fox Cities” the survey reveals those who are most optimistic about their present circumstances and the futures.
The survey also reveals that older Fox Cities residents are seeing their sense of well-being slipping a bit. Brogan says the slight decline in older residents sense of optimism was a bit unexpected.
The May 2022 survey also found that older residents felt less optimistic due to coronavirus isolation.
